From time to time, Edzimkulu issues special appeals for specific donations.
Edzimkulu is a non-profit charity registered both in Canada (Charitable Reg. #889795902 RR0001) and in South Africa (Reg. #2003/026824/08), and its functioning relies entirely on financial donations from the general public and some established organizations. We believe in grassroots funding because it fosters building relationships between the Edmonton and Ndawana communities, and creates greater awareness of the situation, the challenges and the opportunity.
We are a small organization with a core focus on empowering the people of Ndawana. In our most recent fiscal year, 98% of our expenditures were on programs in the village.
Donors supporting our programs include government and non-government organizations, families and many individuals. If you have questions or ideas regarding possible fundraising projects, please contact us at fundraising@edzimkulu.org.
