Celebrate the Grand Opening Of The Community Centre In
Ndawana - Dec. 1st, 2005
Edmonton celebrated too! The Special Events committee worked
feverishly to develop plans for celebrating the grand opening
of the community centre in Ndawana on December 1 in conjunction
with World AIDS Day. To learn more about what they did, see
details here.
A special component of the celebration were special kits to be used by individual
classrooms, whole schools, special interest groups (churches, seniors
groups etc.). The kits provided the materials necessary to hold
celebrations in school and communities everywhere.
Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) -

Edzimkulu presented a poster at the
Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) national conference

This exhibit showcased educational
and international initiatives taking place in Canada and abroad. The poster
abstract was supported by the Pallium Project, a Health Canada-funded
palliative care initiative. The Pallium Project sponsored
one of its employees, Edzimkulu Board Member Jacquie Béasse, to attend
this conference and present the poster on behalf of Edzimkulu.
